testing testing....
Sep. 28th, 2005 09:21 amWell we made it through a year... how 'bout them apples? Personally, I am glad... after all, he's my husband and I'm still in love with him. I am pretty sure he feels the same way about me.
The job has finally calmed down somewhat. I'm still looking for something else. Something that actually makes a bit of MONEY. $15 a day isn't quite good enough for all the time I spend on it (from 8-12 a day) Today I'm going to do some job hunting. ick.
Yes we are still mostly non-smokers. I say "mostly" because there have been several occasions where we smoked a few and I have smoked some on my own - usually two puffs then I put it out thereby smoking one cig in about five hours. The occasional puffing does not actually bother me, nor does it make me want to pick up the habit again. It's kind of weird, in fact, to smoke and not want another one within an hour. It's weird not to be smoking in certain situations like driving or on the computer... I'm going to keep taking the pills for another month. We've been habit-free for about three weeks now and I'd like to make sure it stays that way. I don't even mind when other people smoke in front of me. The only thing that makes me want to pick it up is pretty much seeing a pack lying somewhere. I have the urge to pick it up and take one, even though I don't necessarily have the urge to smoke. Like I said, it's weird.
The appointment has been made with the clinic. I'm scheduled to go in, February 24th. The rest of the monies will be due a few days before then, so pray that we manage to keep our finances straight as an arrow until then. I think we've been pretty good but there's been some slip-ups. As I said before, I think a lot of that had to do with Jerry's death.
We've cancelled our online game accounts. No more CoH or SWG. *sigh*
The BDM (That's Big Damned Movie or Serenity as it's also known) will be this Friday. We'll be going early, 7:30 showing, in order that we may make the most of the remaining free-play time at Battle and Brew. I hope to see some of you there!!
and now I must get back to work and then get ready to go out job-hunting. Ick.
