Something good:
Oct. 8th, 2002 11:51 ammy food stamps got reinstated. Apparently, the system has been down for several days (weeks?) but my case worker said it's all fixed now, I get my benefits and everything a-okay.
I haven't checked yet but he said I should be getting two months worth because of the month I went without... if this is true expect a dinner party to be scheduled (there's no other way to deal with two months worth of food!). Don't jump to conclusions; the last party I had (my "birthday") I spent only $40 on food and I think everyone will agree that it was well spent.
Waiting on SSI money now.... social worker said I should heear from them within four months.... I doubt it will take that long (it didn't last time) but even if it does, they have to pay me for the whole time I've been waiting which could mean quite a bit of money: "new" car here I come!
I still have some money in savings... believe it or not I'm pretty freaking frugal and meticulous about saving.
To ensure I do not get too comfortable with all this proposed good fortune, the goddess has decided to give me triple-strength cramps this month. It's so painful I feel like throwing up. Oh, isn't being a woman wonderful and empowering? What the fuck ever.
